This bible study is on Salvation. We should all know that through the grace of God we are all saved if we commit our life to Christ.
Titus 3 shows the contrast between what a person is before becoming a Christian (verse 3) and what that same person becomes in Christ (verses 1 and 2). Before AfteraFoolish and disobedient. aSubject to authority and obedient.aDeceived and enslaved aReady to do whatever is good. by passion and pleasure.aLived in malice and envy. aPeaceable and considerate.aBeing hated and hating. aTruly Humble toward all men. How is this change possible? · The Source of Salvation (3:4) “But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared…” · The Foundation of Salvation (3:5a)“…He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.” · The Means of Salvation (3:5b-6)“He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior…” · The Basis of Salvation 3:7a“…so that, having been justified by His grace…” · The Result of Salvation (3:7)“…we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” Final Thought - Not only do Christians have the gift of eternal life, but also a change that makes our earthly time much more purposeful and enjoyable. Have you realized that salvation is a gift of God because of His mercy and not because of your good works? If not, place your faith in Christ now and lay claim to the hope of eternal life only available in Him.

Antes DespuésaNecios y desobedientes. aObedientes y sumisos.aDescarriados y esclavizados aDispuestos a hacer lo bueno. a pasiones y placeres.aVivía en malicia y envidia. aBuscando la paz y respetuosos.aDetestables y odiando. aDemostrando plena humildad a todos. ¿Cómo es posible este cambio? ¡Solamente con Dios!· La Fuente de la Salvación (3:4) “Pero cuando se manifestó la bondad y el amor de Dios nuestro Salvador…” · La Base de la Salvación (3:5a)“…Él nos salvó, no por nuestras propias obras de justicia sino por Su misericordia.” · El Medio de la Salvación (3:5b-6)“Nos salvo mediante el lavamiento de la regeneración y de la renovación por el Espíritu Santo, el cual fue derramado abundantemente sobre nosotros por medio de Jesucristo nuestro Salvador…” · El Resultado de la Salvación (3:7)“…así lo hizo para que, justificados por Su gracia, llegáramos a ser herederos que abrigan la esperanza de recibir la vida eterna.” Pensamiento Final - No solamente tienen los cristianos el don de la vida eterna, sino también un cambio que da propósito y gozo a nuestra vida terrenal. ¿Has reconocido que la salvación es un don de Dios por la misericordia de Él y no por nuestras buenas obras? Si no, en este momento pon tu fe en Jesucristo y toma posesión de la esperanza de vida eterna que solo se encuentra en Él.
